1949 — The Diamond Trade Begins — Gary's father joins the road as a traveling diamond salesman for C.A. Kiger — one of the renowned "3 Ks" known for sourcing ideal-cut diamonds. The store opens in Colorado Springs just five months before Gary is born. His parents leave road sales behind to build something that lasts.
1973 — Gary Joins The Trade — Gary enters the diamond business, eventually earning his Graduate Gemologist degree at the GIA. He goes on to become an instructor there — teaching diamond, gemstone, and pearl grading to more than 1,500 students over his tenure.
Late 1990s–2000 — Diamond Cutting In Colorado Springs — The family operated its own diamond cutting facility in Colorado Springs — a rare, hands-on practice that deepened expertise from rough crystal to finished gem.
2000s — A New Generation, A New Vision — Jeanne and Katie join the practice, bringing a designer's sensibility and a client-first approach that makes bespoke the heart of everything we do. Three generations. One shared purpose: to make something that's unmistakably yours. "My wife Jeanne and my daughter Katie work with me to grant your wishes."
Today — By Appointment, By Design — After relocating to Jamestown, North Carolina, Gary consults privately and by appointment — no storefront, no sales staff, no overhead passed on to the client. Seventy-six years in the diamond trade. One conversation at a time.
